It’s never too late to plan a summer getaway, even, well, at the end of summer. To help you find an inexpensive last-minute trip, we combed our archives for some advice that never expires — unlike those frequent flier miles. 

School is out, the mercury is rising and summer travel is in full swing. More than two-thirds of US adults plan to take a summer vacation, and more than half of their European counterparts are anxious to get away. Don’t worry, though. It’s not too late to get some deals. In fact, many agencies are hungry for some last-minute bookings.
