More than half of UK business travelers surveyed said they extended a business trip to take a personal holiday in the past year, while three-quarters of Australian business travelers did the same.

Some road warriors may be surprised to learn they are eligible for little-known incentives when they combine work and pleasure. US citizens can reap some tax benefits and others can get special treatment — like bigger hotel rooms or free breakfasts — if they know how to ask.
