Australia and New Zealand’s  famous international and local music festival kicks off in mid-January and travels from city to city over several weeks. Things get started in Auckland, New Zealand, then move on to Australia’s Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

At each location there are seven or eight stages, and the programme offers something for everyone – from rock to electronic, to more mainstream international acts and local talent. The line-up for 2014 features some big names as well as emerging ones, including Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Blur, The 1975, Snoop Dog (aka Snoop Lion), The Algorithm and Ghost. Established in the early 1990s, this event has become an Aussie national tradition.
