Founded in 2008, the India Art Fair has become a big draw in the international art world, and a platform for New Delhi as an artistic centre, too. This is the sixth edition, and so far the fair has shown in more than 300 galleries, including the Grosvenor Gallery, shown here, one of the city’s most established contemporary-art spaces.
The fair has exhibited the work of around 3,000 artists so far. The 2014 schedule is extensive – with the Speakers’ Forum a highlight. Other attractions include art projects, art book-store events, curated walks and thematic eateries.
