The Pictet Prize for Photography and Sustainability was founded in 2008, and aims to celebrate outstanding photography that confronts today’s environmental challenges. This year the theme of consumption is explored by 11 international photographers.

Among those included are Laurie Simmons, Adam Bartos, Michael Schmidt and Hong Ho, and the finalists’ exhibition will take place at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. Members of the jury include award-winning architect Wang Shu and Elisabeth Sussman, chief curator at the Whitney in New York.
