Exploring fashion designer Anna Sui’s rock-n-roll romanticism is an exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London. The New York designer staged her first catwalk show in 1991, and her distinctive vision and signature printed textiles were influenced by the creativity of the city’s underground scene. The archetypes and motifs that have informed her work from Victoriana to punk and surfers to hippies, are all featured in this thematically organised show.
