Orefeo ed Euridice was first performed in Vienna in 1762, and is an opera in three acts by Christoph Willibald Gluck, based on the myth of Orpheus. The production at Teatro Costanzi in Rome is a collaboration with the Theatre des Champs-Elysees, Chateau de Versailles Spectacle and the Canadian Opera Company. The conductor is Gianluca Capuano.
