Gatsby: A great Cannes reception?

The 66th Cannes Film Festival is under way, and thousands of film-makers, stars, journalists and celebrity spotters have gathered in the south of France.

On the first day of the festival, BBC Culture met Baz Luhrmann and Leonardo DiCaprio to discuss adapting a literary classic – and heard the critics’ first reactions.

BBC Culture will feature regular video reports from Cannes throughout the festival.
