Cannes 2013: China in focus

BBC Culture meets Zhangke Jia, whose violent drama of social change in China, A Taste of Sin, appears in the competition at Cannes.

We also talk to Bernardo Bertolucci, whose classic The Last Emperor has screened in 3D in the Cannes Classics series, and ask him about the attractions and drawbacks of working in three dimensions.

Plus we meet Benicio del Toro and Arnaud Desplecin, star and director of Jimmy P (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian).

BBC Culture features regular video reports from Cannes throughout the festival.
