Seduced and Abandoned: Behind the scenes at Cannes

Alec Baldwin and director James Toback’s documentary Seduced and Abandoned gives an insight into the festival – and the film industry in general.

The film was shot at Cannes last year: cameras trailed Baldwin and Toback as they met key players in the movie business to discuss and get funding for a far-fetched film project.

The documentary features conversations with Hollywood heavyweights Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola and actor Ryan Gosling and is an oddly moving exposé of the industry’s machinations, says the BBC’s Tom Brook.
