Known for his comedy roles on TV and stage, James Corden is now breaking through in film. He can currently be seen in the Keira Knightley romantic comedy Begin Again, and later this year will be co-starring in the Disney adaptation of the musical Into the Woods alongside Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp.
The Brit gained international recognition – and a Tony Award – for his acting in the play One Man, Two Guvnors but his 2013 film One Chance failed to break through to a big audience.
Corden talks to Tom Brook about how he chooses his work projects, and how he judges success. “It’s not necessarily when your name’s in lights… it’s when you have some say over your choices.”
