60 mlynedd o Gymru // 60 years of Wales

Mae arddangosfa o waith y ffotograffydd Pete Davis i'w gweld yn Oriel Gregynog, Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru, Aberystwyth o Fawrth 4.

Mae'r ffotograffau yn olrhain 60 mlynedd gan bortreadu bywyd pob dydd gwahanol ardaloedd o Gymru ac agweddau penodol o'r byd o'n cwmpas.

Dyma flas o rai o'r lluniau:


A retrospective exhibition by the photographer Pete Davis, opened at the Gregynog Gallery in the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth on 4 March. It consists of a collection of pictures depicting everyday life in Wales and beyond over a period of 60 years.

Treuliodd Pete Davis ddeng mlynedd fel ffotograffydd hysbysebion a ffasiwn yng Nghaerdydd ac yn ddiweddarach bu'n uwch ddarlithydd mewn ffotograffiaeth ddogfennol ym Mhrifysgol Cymru, Casnewydd.

Bydd yr arddangosfa i'w gweld yn y Llyfrgell Genedlaethol tan Fehefin 17.

Pete Davis spent ten years working as an advertising and fashion photographer in Cardiff and later as a senior lecturer in documentary photography at the University of Wales, Newport.

Pete Davis: Observations, Collections, Recollections. A Lifetime in Photography runs until 17 June 2017 at Gregynog Gallery, The National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.
