Since the site was discovered in 1999, the excavations at Bouldnor Cliff have uncovered an 8,000-year-old settlement. The people who lived there seem to have possessed a level of technology 2,000 years ahead of the norm for the period.

Archaeologists with the Maritime Archaeology Trust are trying to uncover its secrets before the sea washes them away forever.
