Do ultrabooks spell the end for the desktop PC?

The death of the desktop PC has been declared time and time again, but it could now become a reality with the introduction of ultrabooks.

They are the first machines to be both truly portable and rival the power of a desktop.

Marc Cieslak reports on the rise of the laptop and the supposed demise of the bulky computer tower.
