Will there be lift off for space tourism in Europe?

It's been the dream and desire of many for decades, but for a fortunate few who can afford it, a trip into space may soon become reality.

The New Mexico desert in the US may be the home for Sir Richard Branson's space tourism venture Virgin Galactic but, even though flights will not take off until at least 2013, is he already looking for a European base?
