The “eye-tech” future of vision

New glasses that superimpose information on the real world are in sight.

Glasses and contact lenses look set to give us second sight.

Overlaying our vision with additional information could act as a visual aid, or help monitor the health of the wearer. Ski goggles fitted with GPS and sensors could tell us our speed on the slopes as we glide down the mountain.

And if this isn’t futuristic enough, L J Rich also reports on a pair of glasses that give the wearer the power to move objects by blinking.
