Why do some gadgets constantly crash??

Is the complexity of our gadgets and the demands we put on them to blame for blue screens and crashes?

"Turn it off and on again" seems to be the usual advice given when you are on the phone to the IT helpdesk. But why do these faults happen in the first place?

Click's Lara Lewington investigates why so many gadgets break without anything seeming to be wrong with them.
