How to water crops with a mobile phone

Many farmers in India have to walk miles around their fields to switch on electric pumps that irrigate their crops.

But regular power cuts can mean these trips are in vain.

Now mobile phone technology is coming to the rescue, helping ease farmer's workload and cut down on wasted journeys. Click’s Spencer Kelly reports from India.
