Synopsis

Surgeon Iain Hutchison works with people whose faces have been severely disfigured, and as well as describing his work he provides thoughtful answers as to why a disfigured face can shock us so deeply. NOTE: This talk contains images of disfigured and badly injured faces that some people might find disturbing. Talk recorded 14 July 2010.
