Where does the atmosphere end?

How many layers does the atmosphere have, and what's in all of them? James May explains.

The short answer is that it’s impossible to say, as it just fades away. But for the purposes of science the atmosphere is divided into layers, and Headsqueeze’s James May explains what’s in each one.
