Found at St Mary's Football Stadium, Southampton, Hampshire, by members of Wessex Archaeology whilst excavating a cemetary and rubbish pit.

A gold pendant, consisting of a crescent-shaped strip with filigree wire and coiled ends. The style is influenced by Frisian jewellery from the same period, and in fact, may be a direct import.
