About the organisation

The Portable Antiquities Scheme is a voluntary recording scheme for archaeological objects found by members of the public. A regional team of Finds Liaison Officers can assist in the identification and recording of objects you've discovered. This information will be added to the national Portable Antiquities Finds database.
