Places to visit

The ship was built at Millwall, on London's Isle of Dogs, where the launching timbers still remain - these have been exposed and can be seen. The Museum of the Docklands can tell you more about the history of this fascinating area of London.

The funnel that blew up is now part of the Sutton Poyntz Water Supply Museum, Weymouth, Dorset DT3 6LT
