Nick gives us his take on the show with his weekly blog.
After the semi-final show Nick spills the beans on his DIY SOS colleagues' obsession with the show, his thoughts on the final three choirs and why he had to get a haircut!
"Hi! Nick here after the semi-final, which was probably even more emotional than any of the other shows so far! Each week you think you can't ramp it up any further and then up it goes again!
"I was away working on another show this week, but I never really stop thinking about the choirs and I'm always humming their songs in my head.
"You know I told the DIY SOS team that they had to watch Last Choir Standing, and there was some resistance at first because they thought it was all something to do with church choirs or more formal, traditional choirs. But after they'd actually seen one of the shows they said it was brilliant, and now they're all up to speed with it and they're absolutely obsessed with it!
"This show has definitely got me singing more - especially when I'm walking around the studio and between shows at TV Centre. Sharon told me she'd heard of five people who'd been inspired to form a choir, and the gospel group that her family is involved with have decided that rather than just turning up and singing they're going to form a proper choir.
"Well let me talk a little about the three final choirs; With Revelation, every time they get up and sing, everybody dances, everybody feels it and they make people cry. They put emotion across better than anyone else.
"Ysgol Glanaethwy are jaw dropping. Every now and again they'll sing something and you'll think 'how do high school kids make a sound like that?' and they put so much real emotion into Circle of Life tonight.
"Only Men Aloud! are showmen and each time they step out on stage it's like someone's sprinkled show-dust over them. Plus they're good looking lads and they're fun to watch... even in that first group song, watch Only Men Aloud because they're giving as much to that as their own individual songs, they're really thoroughly enjoying it.
"I just can't predict who will win, but I know it's going to be a terrific show. Make sure you tune in on Saturday at 6pm.
Love
Nick x
P.S - "Many of you will have noticed I got my hair cut. Someone said I looked like Lionel Blair so it had to go!
