In this look behind the scenes Production Co-ordinator Tim Pyke shows us round the crew's camp in Nepal.
Last Man Standing dares a unique group of western adventurers to accept the challenge of a life-time. To travel the world, and compete against some of the most remote tribes on earth... on their own turf.
The athletes will encounter wrestling, endurance running, archery and even water-buffalo racing in the ultimate test of strength, skill, stamina and stick-fighting.
The athletes go into each event blind - so no advance preparation is possible. They're trained by a local expert and then compete by the rules of the tribe.
At the end of each competition tribal judges declare the winner - that week's Last Man Standing.
The overall winner will be whoever has won the most titles after all ten events.
In the event of a tie, after ten events, the positions in the final competition will be the decider.
But it won't just be their sporting prowess that is tested to the limit, as they immerse themselves in the rites and rituals that lie at the heart of each event.
Stripped of all the trappings of western culture our adventurers are required to adapt to each new location - eating, sleeping and training just as the locals do. Only the bare necessities are allowed - no iPods, no soap, no mirrors...
Once in the tribe, they are utterly immersed 24/7, living as one of the family - apart from occasional access to a translator, communication simply has to be negotiated as best as possible.
Remember those foreign exchange trips?
But with the tribes, our athletes are entering a world of raw meat and blood, hot from the kill, dancing, black magic, indigenous drugs and tattooing. And that's the glamorous side... less fun are meals of weevil-infested porridge, toilet arrangements, and some (very) intimate sleeping.
Follow every trial and tribulation as they train alongside past champions to ultimately compete against one another in each tribes ancient sporting event.

Each experience is utterly transformational for the mind, the body and the soul.
Our courageous participants are Boxing fire-fighter Wole, Submission wrestler and traffic cop JJ, Kite-surfer Murray, American rugby player Jarvis, Modern pentathlete Ed and Soccer player Joey.
Over the course of ten weeks we will discover which of our adventurers have what it takes to be the Last Man Standing.
