Here at Raw Talent Central we get inundated with press packs, singles, albums, demos and assorted bric-a-brac, as the region's young musical hopefuls vie for their chance to be heard on Yorkshire's most vital show for new and unsigned bands.

We try our very best to make sure everyone gets their chance, but with only two hours every week to fit it all in, we can't always give everyone the amount of coverage we'd like. However because that's down to the strictures of the time-space continuum rather than a lack of talent, we've decided to give you a bit extra.

Each week, we will have an extra chunk of Raw Talent, where Neil gets together with band members and finds out what they're about, their plans for world domination....or just where they're playing next!

This edition: It's the festive season and what better way to celebrate than to offer a "gift of new music" courtesy of some of the best acts to have featured on the show in the last year. Neil gets back to the studio with tracks from The Old Romantic Killer Band, The Rosie Taylor Project, an exclusive from Dan Audio, a session track from The Bedroom Orchestra and much more…
