What is Free Thinking?

Free Thinking is a festival celebrating ideas that are changing the world. Have you got a 'free thinking' idea you want to share with others? Get involved below.

BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking festival of ideas will be back in Liverpool from 31st October to 2nd November 2008, with conversation, film, performance and debate about the ideas that are changing the world.

We are counting down to the Free Thinking 2008 festival with 100 Free Thoughts.

One hundred key figures from the arts, media, politics and science offer their personal cultural thoughts for the day in Free Thought - broadcast every day until the festival.

You can hear them live on BBC Radio Merseyside on the Drivetime programme with Claire Hamilton between 5pm and 7pm.

Each of the one hundred will be available to listen to again online from the first weekday after broadcast.

Have you got a 'free thinking' idea you want to share with others? We have teamed up with BBC Video Nation in Liverpool to help you share your Free Thoughts.
