The French scientist who is looking in to the arrival of a giant spider in Liverpool city centre has been giving his second interview to the media. Joseph Browning says that he decided to move the spider from Concourse House with a crane and take it to the Arena and Convention Centre at Kings Dock for further investigations. The spider, which ways 34 tonnes, is now quarantined for 24 hours before attempts will be made to awaken it at approximately 11.30am on Friday, 5 September.
