This Christmas, we hope you will contribute to making the season special for underprivileged children across Merseyside. The BBC Radio Merseyside Christmas Toy Appeal needs toys which are new and unwrapped for children up to the age of 17. In previous years it's been particularly hard to find toys for teenagers, so don't forget older children if you're thinking of making a donation. ![]() Sean Styles will broadcast from the BBC Bus. Every year we're amazed by the generosity of ordinary Merseysiders, who amidst all the pressures of planning for the festive period, manage to take some time to think of the region's many underprivileged children in hospitals, care homes and social services. Presents can be dropped off at BBC Radio Merseyside in Hanover Street, the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo in Old Hall Street or at participating branches of Greggs the Bakers. BBC Radio Merseyside presenters will be out and about across the region on the BBC Bus at a number of locations. You'll be able to meet your favourite presenters and add your donation to the Toy Appeal. Your support is much appreciated this Christmas.
