Police have issued an appeal over a man missing from Moray amid "increasing concern" for his safety.

Keith Johnston, 36, was reported missing on Saturday 15 May from his home in Elgin.

His grey Audi A4 car was found at the Boat O'Brig car park, on the Keith to Rothes road, near to the River Spey the following Tuesday.

Grampian Police said Mr Johnston was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black jacket and brown shoes.

A spokesman said: "Obviously the more time passes, the more concerned we are about his welfare.

"We're not giving up hope that Keith is still out there and would ask him to please just make contact to let everyone know he's safe."
