Body of missing man, 36, found in River Spey

The body of a missing man has been recovered from the River Spey.

Keith Johnston, 36, had been reported missing on Saturday 15 May from his home in Elgin.

Grampian Police said a body recovered on Monday had now been identified as that of Mr Johnston.

A spokesperson said Mr Johnston's death was not being treated as suspicious and a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

His grey Audi A4 car had earlier been found at the Boat O'Brig car park, on the Keith to Rothes road, near to the River Spey.
