Watford man denies overseas sexual abuse

A man from Hertfordshire has denied a series of sexual offences which allegedly took place in India.

Barry McCloud, 53, from Watford, has been charged with three counts of raping a child and offences of gross indecency.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2005 and 2007 in Goa.

Mr McCloud denied the charges at St Albans Crown Court and is due to stand trial on 15 November.

He also denies administering a stupefying substance with the purpose of committing sexual abuse.
