Arson attack on flats in Antrim

Police back

Fires which caused smoke and scorch damage at three flats in Antrim are being treated as arson by police.

Shortly before 0250 BST on Monday it was reported that fires had been set inside the flats at Portlee Walk.

Police said initial enquiries suggest that flammable liquid was poured through the letterbox of each of the flats and set alight.

No-one was in the flats at the time. One of the flats is not occupied.
