Former New College principal becomes an OBE
The former principal of a Lincolnshire college has become an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.
Miles Dibsdall spent three and a half years at New College Stamford, overseeing a £45m building programme and an increase in courses offered.
He has received the honour for services to further and higher education.
Also recognised is Basheer Ahmed, honorary life vice-president of the Race Equality Council of Lincolnshire. He is appointed an MBE.
