Condition of boy stabbed in Shepherd's Bush improves

A teenager who was stabbed in west London is now in a stable condition, police have said.

Officers found the 16-year-old near Shepherd's Bush Tube station in the early hours of Saturday.

His condition had been described as critical but he is understood to be improving.

A second 16-year-old, found with a single stab wound nearby, was taken to hospital and later arrested and bailed.

Police sealed off the area around the Tube station, including a bus terminus, for several hours.
