Views sought in new County Durham library plan

People in County Durham are being urged to have their say on planned changes to the county's library service.

Proposals been drawn up by Durham County Council and a consultation is planned with the public throughout July and August.

The strategy sets objectives such as improved access through technology.

The county council's libraries currently stock 750,000 books, over 14,000 talking books and has 284,505 registered customers.
