Firefighters tackle Leyton waste recycling centre blaze
A fire has ripped through a waste and recycling centre in east London.
At least 30 firefighters were sent to Bywater Yard in Osier Way, Leyton, on Tuesday evening where they battled the blaze until after 0400BST on Wednesday.
A large stack of refuse has been completely destroyed in the fire. The rubbish yard is close to Leyton Orient's ground in Brisbane Road.
London Fire Brigade said there were no reports of people being evacuated from the area.
Thermal imaging cameras and six fire engines were used by firefighters.
