Delivery driver robbed at knifepoint in Glasgow

A delivery driver was threatened with a knife and a bottle in a robbery in Glasgow.

The 40-year-old was confronted by three youths as he made a delivery at Castlebay Drive in the Milton area of the city at about 1830 BST on Tuesday.

He was not injured but was forced to hand over cash and left badly shaken.

Police believe the suspects were locals and have urged people to come forward with information.

Det Con Elizabeth Blair, of Maryhill Police Office, said: "Inquiries are ongoing to trace the men responsible for this robbery.

"I believe these are local people with a good knowledge of the local area.

"We will continue to follow all lines of inquiry available to us and will be checking local CCTV."
