Cambridgeshire bridges to close for repair work

A £150,000 project to strengthen two bridges in Cambridgeshire is to begin in the summer.

Residents are being warned of road closures during August and September when repairs are carried out to Offord Mill and Buckden Mill bridges.

The bridges will be closed during the day on four Sundays followed by a complete four-week closure.

Engineers said the work would improve the load carrying capacity and extend the life of each bridge.
