High risk sex offender leaves Blackpool home
Police in Lancashire are appealing for help in finding a high-risk sex offender who they believe left his Blackpool home for Northern Ireland.
William Paden, 56, has 19 sexual convictions dating back to 1974, including rape and indecent assault.
Detectives say he recently breached his Sexual Offences Prevention Order and poses a high risk of re-offending.
Anyone who knows anything about his whereabouts is being urged to get in touch.
Paden is banned from associating with children unless they are accompanied by an adult.
Det Supt Ian Critchley, head of Lancashire Constabulary's Public Protection Unit, said: "William Paden is a Registered Sex Offender with a long history of convictions against children going back more than 30 years.
"I believe he poses a significant risk of harm and I would appeal to anyone who knows where he may be to get in touch with us."
