Teenager on school knife charge

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with being in possession of a knife at a Borders secondary school.

It follows inquiries into an incident involving pupils at Earlston High School in Berwickshire last week.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said a report would be submitted to the Children's Reporter.
