Three charged over street assault in Jersey

Three people have been charged after a man was assaulted in St Helier.

The 38-year-old man suffered facial injuries and needed hospital treatment after the incident, which happened in St James Street in the early hours of Friday.

Two men, aged 27 and 22, and an 18-year-old woman have been charged with affray, grave and criminal assault and possession of an offensive weapon.

They are due to appear at Jersey Magistrates' Court on Monday.
