Vomiting bug shuts King's Lynn hospital wards

A hospital in Norfolk has closed two wards during an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting.

The bug is affecting patients within the Gayton and Necton wards at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.

Visitors have been warned that they will not be permitted to go into the wards, the hospital said.

The regulations were brought in on Friday and will be reviewed later, a QEH spokesman said.
