Four Friday morning break-ins in Londonderry have been linked by police

Four Friday morning break-ins in Londonderry have been linked by police.

Entry was forced into four premises in the Drumahoe area at about 0200 BST Friday morning.

Charity boxes were stolen from a bakery on the Glenshane Road. The door of a nearby chip was forced opened and the window of a hairdressers smashed.

The back door of a cafe was also forced open and damage was also caused to a nearby carwash. Police have appealed for information.
