Man guilty of Berkshire caravan site shooting jailed

A man who shot a rival three times at a caravan site in Berkshire has been jailed for 22 years for attempted murder.

Tom Stevens, 22, from Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, had been involved in a fight with John Cole at the Nine Acres site, near Wokingham, in September.

Stevens later shot the 34-year-old, who suffered face and chest injuries.

At Oxford Crown Court, he was also given 12 years for possessing a firearm, to run concurrently.
