Taunton 'manslaughter' victim identified

Police have named the man who died following an assault outside his Taunton home.

Roger Bragg, 55, died from head wounds after the incident on Severn Drive at about 2130 BST on 22 June.

Darren Hoare, 20, appeared before Taunton Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with Mr Bragg's manslaughter.

A 16-year-old youth who was also arrested at the time has been released on police bail while inquiries continue.

A woman held in connection with the death was released without charge on Friday.

Mr Hoare was remanded in custody and was next due to appear before Taunton Crown Court on 9 July.
