Police in Banbridge find cannabis put at £70,000

Police in County Down have seized suspected cannabis resin estimated to be worth £70,000.

The police said the drugs were discovered in Banbridge on Friday. They were found during a search of premises by officers.

A substantial amount of mephedrone along with herbal cannabis was also found at the house in the Castlewellan Road area.

The police said one man had been arrested.
