A 45-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman, whose body was found in a Devon car park.

Teresa Parkin, 29, was discovered on the lower levels of the Fleet Walk car park in Torquay on 10 June.

She is believed to have fallen from the top of the multi-storey building.

Shaun Foley, of Torquay, was remanded in custody by Torbay Magistrates and will appear at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday.

Devon and Cornwall Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses who may have been in the Melville Street, Rock Road and Fleet Walk car park areas in Torquay at about 2100 BST on the night Ms Parkin died.
