Youth in court on shotgun charge

A teenager is due to appear in court in Aberdeen charged with possession of a shotgun.

Grampian Police said the 18-year-old was also accused of a "catalogue of crimes" including a number of thefts, housebreaking, reset and vandalism.

The force said the teenager's alleged crimes had been committed over a 10-month period.

They said the value of the stolen and damaged property in the local community totalled more than £22,000.
