Man charged over girl hit-and-run crash in Luton

A man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run in Bedfordshire in which a girl was seriously hurt.

Labna Aziz, 15, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash in Leagrave Road on 26 April.

It is believed she had just stepped off a coach bringing her home from school when she was hit.

Raza Rehmat, 25, of Holland Road, Luton, has been charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop. He will appear before magistrates on 16 July.
